Basic Pistol

This course offers hands-on training for basic knowledge necessary to safely operate, load, and shoot a semi-automatic pistol. The Don Firearms offers this course within the classroom and 2 hours range time to provide sufficient opportunity to achieve the attitude and skills necessary for optimal success. This course meets the requirement for a Massachusetts License To Carry (LTC) as well as the standard requirements for many additional states nonresident concealed carry permits like the Rhode Island Weapons Carry Permit (WCP), Connecticut Pistol Permit (CTPP), and Florida nonresident Conceal Carry Weapons (CCW) permit. Students will obtain both a Massachusetts safety certificate along with a NRA certification upon completion. We shoot .45cal, .40cal, 9mm, and .22lr. Please bring snacks and a lunch to the course. We will have short breaks throughout the course. 

CAVEAT: Additional fees will be assessed per nonresident license. (Rhode Island requires 1hr private range time to complete 30 round shooting qualifications. Please note the fees assessed for that).
