About the Event
This course offers hands-on training for basic knowledge necessary to safely operate, load, and shoot a semi-automatic pistol. The Don Firearms offers this course including 5 hours in the classroom (site determined by class size) and 3 hours shooting in the range (Braintree or Holiston) to provide sufficient opportunity to achieve the attitude and skills necessary for optimal success. This course meets all requirements for a Massachusetts License To Carry (LTC) as well as the standard requirements for many additional states’ nonresident concealed carry (CCW) permits. This is a special event to help TDF raise money to send a Boston student Africa for a 21-day excursion in Cape Verde, Gambia, and Senegal. This course is an end of the year fundraiser for TDF to send a student to Africa. The fee includes class materials, live fire, official NRA and MA certificates, as well as consultation throughout the application process.
