About the Event
The TDF Dry-fire Drill course is a short session to expose students to sight alignment, trigger manipulation, and magazine reloads. Dry fire means shooting WITHOUT ammo, and it’s a surprisingly helpful skill builder. There should be NO AMMO in your chamber as well as NO AMMO in your magazine(s). Dry fire is one of the most common ways to train new shooters on how to handle a firearm safely, and to teach them the very basics of weapon’s manipulation. We are going to dive deep into how to dry fire, cover a ton of dry fire drills, and of course improve your shooting abilities. Dry fire should be a completely safe activity as long as all firearm safety rules are followed!  Of course you need to unload your weapon, and visually and physically ensure the weapon is clear, and then use a cleaning snake to ensure the chamber is completely empty, and after that you should be totally safe and ready to start the dry fire drills.
