About the Event
The purpose of this course is to prepare children and youth for firearm safety. We will assist students in developing a moral compass, then firearm safety, and end with time in the range. Parents are required to attend each session with their child.
Ages: 17 and under (there is no age limit as it is determined by the parents' descretion of the child's maturity). The Don Firearms offers this course within three 3 hour sessions on NOW Satursdays (11/28, 12/05, 12/12) within the classroom to provide sufficient opportunity to achieve the attitude and skills necessary for optimal success with firearm safety. This course meets the requirement for a Massachusetts License To Carry (LTC), so youth 14 and older and receive take their certs to get an Firearm Identification (FID) card. Youth, on the last session, will only shoot various .22lr with extra emphasis on firearm safety and shooting fundamentals.
